Workspace settings and branding

Workspace settings shape how UpAll looks and behaves for your whole team — and, more importantly, how your company appears to your clients. Only workspace Admins can open them; Engineers handle monitors and incidents but never see settings, billing, or team management.

The settings

  • Logo — an image up to 1 MB. It appears on everything your clients see: the portal, public status pages, and monthly reports.
  • Company name — shown alongside the logo wherever your clients look, and used as the default public heading of a status page when you leave that page's own heading blank.
  • Contact email — the address UpAll uses to reach your workspace; the tax invoices for your subscription are emailed here on every payment. See Payments, invoices, and VAT.
  • VAT number — record your company's VAT registration so your tax paperwork stays consistent.
  • Brand color — tints the console, so the tool your team lives in all day carries your identity.
  • Timezone — the workspace clock, covered below.

What the timezone controls

The clock times your team and clients read all follow the workspace timezone: when incidents opened and resolved, the start times quoted in alert emails, and the clock times printed in reports. Day-by-day figures resolve each monitor's timezone through a chain — the monitor's site timezone if set, otherwise the workspace's, otherwise the platform default. Details in Site and workspace timezones.

Set the timezone once, correctly, before incidents start accumulating: it's the difference between an incident log your client recognizes and one that's off by hours.

Where your branding appears

Everything your clients touch carries your identity, not UpAll's: the portal opens with your logo and name (plus the client's own logo, if you add one — see Add your first client), status pages live on your subdomain under your branding, and monthly SLA reports are issued in your name — see Monthly SLA reports.

One thing said plainly: every client-facing surface keeps a small "Powered by UpAll" footer. It cannot be removed on any plan — that's deliberate, not a missing setting.

A practical order

Set the logo and brand color before you invite your first client, the timezone before your first incident, and the contact email and VAT number before subscribing to a paid plan. Each takes a minute now and is annoying to correct after the fact — a wrong timezone in particular changes how your whole incident history reads.
