Upgrade and plan changes
All plan changes happen on the Billing page of the console, and only workspace Admins see it. Engineers run the day-to-day monitoring but have no access to billing, team or workspace settings — see Invite your team for how the roles split.
Subscribing to a paid plan
From the entry plan — or any time you don't have a running subscription — the path is immediate:
- Open Billing and pick the plan; see Plans and limits if you're still deciding.
- Press Subscribe. A Moyasar card payment form opens right on the page.
- Enter the card and pay.
The moment the payment succeeds, the plan is active: the new client and monitor limits apply right away, your card is saved for automatic renewal, and a tax invoice is emailed to your workspace contact address — see Payments, invoices and VAT.
Switching while subscribed
With an active subscription, changing plans works differently: pressing Switch on another plan schedules the change for your next renewal rather than charging you again mid-month. You keep your current plan and its limits until the paid period ends; on renewal day, UpAll charges the new plan's price and the switch takes effect.
The logic is fairness in both directions: you've already paid for the current month, so a scheduled change never throws part of it away, and there's no proration arithmetic to argue about — every month is a whole month on one plan.
The Billing page shows the scheduled change from the moment you make it, and you can cancel it any time before the renewal runs. Cancelling simply removes the schedule; nothing else changes.
Cancelling auto-renew
Cancel auto-renew stops future charges without touching the present: your plan stays fully active until the end of the period you've paid for. Cancelling auto-renew also clears any scheduled plan change, since there's no longer a renewal for it to attach to.
Three days before the paid period ends, UpAll emails a reminder so the expiry never lands as a surprise. If you let it lapse, the workspace moves to the entry plan — with everything preserved, just smaller limits going forward. The mechanics of renewal charges, failed payments and the grace period are covered in Renewals and grace.
Common situations
- Growing mid-month: you can keep creating clients and monitored systems until you reach your plan's ceiling; the console shows how many are left beside each Add button, and tells you at the moment of creation when you get there. Schedule the switch up whenever you see the ceiling coming.
- Scaling down: schedule a switch to a smaller plan; it takes effect at renewal. If you end up over the smaller plan's limits, nothing is deleted — you just can't create more until you're back within them.
- Changed your mind: cancel the scheduled change before renewal day and nothing happens at all.
