The live status wall

The Status page in the console puts every monitor in the workspace on one screen. It's built to answer a single question at a glance — is anything wrong right now? — which is why many teams run it as their NOC view.

Worst-first, always

Monitors are ranked worst-first: down at the top, then degraded and unknown, with healthy monitors sinking to the bottom. The ordering is the point. On a wall-mounted screen across the room you can't read labels, but you can see whether the top of the list is red — and when the trouble is always in one place, a glance is a full sweep. No scrolling, no scanning, no "did I miss a row".

Narrowing the view

  • Client filter — restrict the wall to one client's monitors, including Internal for monitors without a site. Useful mid-phone-call: filter to the client, and their whole estate is the screen.
  • Time-window selector — switch the window the wall's figures are computed over, from a short recent view to a longer one, depending on whether you're asking "what's happening now" or "how has this week really been".

What each row tells you

Beside its current status, each monitor shows its uptime bars over the selected window and its latency over the last 24 hours. Together they separate the two stories that matter in the moment: "this just went down" (clean history, red now) versus "this has been shaky all day" (patchy bars, ragged latency). The SSL attention strip

The wall also carries an attention strip for TLS certificates that are expired or approaching expiry across the workspace. Certificates fail on a calendar, not under load — the strip keeps a renewal deadline visible on the same screen you already watch. Running it as your NOC view

The wall and email make a complete pair: email alerts interrupt you when an incident opens or resolves, and the wall gives you ambient awareness between interruptions — including states that never open incidents at all, like degraded latency and stale monitors.
